Here are 20 cleaning hacks for lazy people. If you are like me, your house probably looks like a disaster zone. The dishes pile up, the laundry piles up, and I never feel motivated to do anything about it. But don’t worry! Today we will discuss 20 cleaning hacks to help you clean faster and get more done with less effort. You can thank me later!

1. Start by doing a little bit of cleaning each day.

This will help keep the mess from piling up and make it seem less daunting. Start with the small tasks and work up to bigger ones until you’re happy with how everything looks in general, not just one room or corner!

2. Get rid of pet hair on furniture by using a lint roller or dryer sheets.

If you have pets, then your furniture is going to get dirty. But, unfortunately, it’s a necessary inherent part of owning an animal!

But luckily, there are some easy ways around this problem- lint roller or dryer sheets work wonders when used correctly on fabric seats and couches, for example; not so much with leather though because those types usually require more intense cleaning alternatives like vacuuming, which can take up quite a bit time each week as well depending on how often they’re done during the season(s).

3. Distract yourself while you clean.

For example, listen to music or watch TV while doing the dishes. This is one of many cleaning hacks for lazy people. Ensure that when you are cleaning something, it’s necessary for day-to-day living and not just because of aesthetic reasons. For example, if you’re spending time polishing silverware but don’t use them often enough to justify it, then don’t bother!

4. Keep things organized.

Keep a small bin in each room for trash and recycling so you can take them out without going far from your task.

Keep your cleaning supplies in one place so that they are easy to find and use whenever needed! Another one of the great cleaning hacks for lazy people, we like to keep things nearby.

Keep items next to where they would most likely be used or stored – like putting all of your clothes on hangers instead of leaving them in a pile on the floor.

5. Take small breaks throughout the day to give yourself a mental break from cleaning.

Cleaning can be tiring, so make sure to take breaks! This will help you stay focused and motivated.

It’s ok if your house doesn’t look perfect all the time. As long as you are doing your best to clean it regularly, then it’s good enough.

6. Clean one room at a time for maximum efficiency.

Trying to clean multiple rooms at once can be overwhelming and make it more challenging to get things done.

Start with the room that you use the most or is the messiest. This will help motivate you to clean it and make it a priority!

7. Use a timer when you clean so that it doesn’t seem like such a daunting task and make cleaning go by faster.

Keep a specific goal in mind, like cleaning the kitchen in 30 minutes, then it will be easier to stay focused.

If you need to clean something, but don’t feel like doing it right now, then put a timer on it. This will help motivate yourself and prevent procrastination!

8. Create a cleaning schedule and stick to it.

This will help you stay organized and ensure that everything gets done regularly.

It’s ok if you don’t have enough time to clean right now, but make sure to do so at some point.

Create a plan for yourself and put it on your calendar! If cleaning is always first on your list, it will be easier to get things done in between other tasks or responsibilities. Remember – it’s always better to do a little bit of cleaning than nothing at all!

9. Invest in some good-quality cleaning supplies.

They will make the job easier and faster, plus they often last longer than cheaper alternatives.

10. Make use of multi-purpose products where possible.

For example, vinegar can be used as a cleaner and a disinfectant.

This will help you save money and space in your cleaning supplies arsenal!

There are many different cleaning supplies out there, but not all of them are necessary.

Choose the ones that will work best for your specific needs and use them efficiently.

11. Clean from top to bottom.

Start with the ceilings and walls, then move down to the floors and furniture last. This will help you avoid getting dirt and dust on the areas you have just cleaned!

If something doesn’t bring me joy, I get rid of it right away because life is too short of unnecessary things taking up space in my home.

It can be difficult to get rid of things you have been holding onto for years, but it will make your home feel much more open and spacious.

16. Dust and vacuum regularly.

Dust and crumbs can accumulate very quickly, so be sure to dust and vacuum at least once a week. The tops of doors, cabinets, light fixtures, and other areas are quickly forgotten.

Be sure not to neglect certain spots when cleaning because they get dirty faster than others. For example – stairs often need extra attention because they see a lot of traffic!

17. Make use of rags instead of paper towels, which are not only wasteful but also expensive in the long run.

Rags can be reused multiple times before needing to be thrown away. A bonus is this will also help reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfills each year.

18. If you do accidentally make a mess, try to clean it up as soon as possible so that it doesn’t have time to set in and become harder to remove later on.

Accidents happen, but by being proactive and cleaning them up as soon as possible you can save yourself a lot of time and hassle in the future.

19. Keep a stash of old newspapers or magazines around specifically for cleaning purposes.

When something spills, or there is a mess that needs to be cleaned up quickly, toss one of these over the top and let it soak up the mess.

20. If all else fails, call in reinforcements!

Enlisting the help of family or friends can do the job a lot easier and more fun. And who knows, you might even end up making some new friends in the process!
